for your convenience, you could also directly jump to the 0.8 release tag and download the source code from there:
https://github.com/tensorflow/tensorflow/releases/tag/v0.8.0
(I think building it from source wasn’t much/any different from today. But there should also be instructions in either the README or the docs folder.)
