How to install tensorflow version 0.8

Hi,

I would like to experiment with some code written for tensorflow 0.8. Would greatly appreciate how to install that.

You should check out the 0.8 branch and build from source. Checking out the 0.8 branch will also give you some docs on how to install binaries, which are still available online. We're not support the installation path, and there definitely may be issues.

Hi,
for your convenience, you could also directly jump to the 0.8 release tag and download the source code from there: https://github.com/tensorflow/tensorflow/releases/tag/v0.8.0

(I think building it from source wasn’t much/any different from today. But there should also be instructions in either the README or the docs folder.)
