All,

The event is a FAI international rocket competition referred to as the Arizona Cup.  FAI models include RC rocket launched gliders and various altitude and duration events.  Model construction, especially for the duration events, is unlike typical model rocket construction, e.g. extremely light fiberglass body tubes.  SARA has assisted in coordinating use of the TIMPA field and allows the use of some of its equipment to support this event.  There is no non—competition flying at the Arizona Cup.
