Hi,

We are getting this error when we invoke a composite API from a process. - (id: 13[1] - status: ACTIVE): The server encountered an unexpected condition which prevented it from fulfilling the request

Is there a way to get mode details of this error?

Thank you!

Regards,
Siva

Hi Siva,

Did you check that the Accept Media Type and Result Media Type of your Composite API are set to "application/json" ?

Hi Gareth,

Yes Both of them are application/json. I am able to successfully test it in the "Launch Test" screen. But when I call it from a process, I throws this error.

Siva

Hi Gareth,

Here is a short description of what we are doing here:

I want to update a process from another process. I am doing this by the following steps:

1. Created a composite API with with two tasks
- task 1 to get the process details using the id with the RMP "Get details of process instance" connector.
- task 2 to update the process with new computed data using the RMP "Modify process request instance" connector.
2. I call this composite API from a process.

This is when I am getting the below error:
Task "Update unassigned processes" (id: 13[0] - status: ACTIVE): The server encountered an unexpected condition which prevented it from fulfilling the request

I am attaching all the screenshots.

Thank you!

Regards,
Siva

Hi Gareth,

To add to that, it works when I test the Composite API in the Launch Test screen. But when I call it from a process, I am still getting the error.

Thank you!

Hi Siva,

When launching a CAPI from a Web Interface, you are supposed to set application/json into Accept media type and Content type fields. However, when you launch your CAPI from a process, you must set application/atom+xml in both fields.

I just modified the configuration and relaunched one instace successfully on IEEE Account.

Best regards
