This was my first course on Swayam platform.  Later I took up two more courses in different disciplines but this will remain exceptional. As its name specifies "Learner Centric", this course  offers several benefits, as they are designed with the learner's needs and preferences in mind. This course typically offers a variety of multimedia content such as videos lectures, interactive quizzes, discussion forums and live interactions. This diversity helps cater to different learning preferences and keeps the learning experience engaging. A big applause to the Team for such efforts.

Now this course has been extended to 8 weeks, so we will learn more useful content.

I am Rajeshwari Bharathy from University College of Engineering Thirukkuvalai (A Constituent College of Anna University Chennai, Tamil Nadu). I am an Assistant Professor teaching Chemistry for Under graduate students. I was enrolled in Designing learner-centric e-learning in STEM disciplines in July 2020 and completed the course with 75 % (Elite +silver). Yes, mam. Many of the courses included learner-centric components like Discussion Forum activities and Reflection spots. However, in this course only, I  encountered practice questions based on the discussion forum activities.

Hello everyone ! 

I'm Divya Pinto from Goa. I'm a private tutor in French and I mostly teach school students. I use the platform Classcraft with my students, and it has so far proven useful in sustaining interest and improving language skills. I'm also learning how to use MOODLE, with the aim of adapting courses (later on) for young learners of a foreign language. With this course, I hope to expand my knowledge about designing MOOCs, and use that knowledge to create engaging and motivating learner-centric content for young learners.

I'm Dr. Shanti N. Dessai, an Assistant Professor in Zoology at Goa University. Dedicated to teaching and research since 2002. Alongside my academic endeavors, I've completed SWAYAM courses such as

1.       2022: NPTEL-AICTE (FDP) 12 week course on: Bioinformatics : Algorithms and Applications” offered by IIT-Madras.

2.       2021: CEC 12-week course on “E-Assessment” offered by Avinashilingam Institute for Home Science And Higher Education for Women, Tamil Nadu.

3.       2021: NITTR 8-week Course on “Integrating Educational Technology into Teaching” offered by NITTR, Chennai.

Joining this course aligns with my passion for continuous learning, aiming to stay updated and enhance my teaching and research skills. I anticipate gaining insights into innovative teaching methods, exploring new research avenues, and building connections with peers. I had enrolled for this course twice in the past but was unable to attend any of the course material due to my academic and research commitments. I intend to finish this course this time as I aim to develop one MOOC.
