Welcome to the Middle East Outreach Council's member forum. MEOC is a national network of educators dedicated to disseminating apolitical and nonpartisan information, resources and activities furthering understanding about the Middle East, including the Arab world, Israel, Iran, Turkey, and Afghanistan.

Joining the list is free and open to K-16 educators. You can access the list at any time via our website and through the Google Groups site. You can also post via e-mail by sending a message to forum@meoc.us.

We suggest setting your initial preferences to receive a daily digest of messages. You can always change your mind later!

We do ask that members maintain a respectful tone in messages and conversation. One of the strengths of our organization is that we bring together a lot of different members with different viewpoints and interests together to exchange ideas.

Please be careful about sending personal information to the forum; messages go to all 900 members – while we can delete messages from the forum on Google, we can’t always guarantee that deleted messages won’t be sent out in the daily digest.
