The 146.88 repeater continues to suffer from significant RF performance degradation.  Receiver noise levels remain extremely high and the transmitter output power is reduced to 5 watts.

Since an FM broadcast notch filter was installed on October 25, additional FM broadcast transmitters have begun operating at our repeater site which are once again overloading the repeater's receiver, despite the filter.  Sigh.

The Technical Committee will continue to work on this.  Additional filtering may help temporarily, but future recurrence of this issue is likely as other facility tenants come and go.  A site visit is planned for early next week pending parts delivery.

The 442.55 FM and 443.5875 DMR repeaters are still on the air and functioning normally, though the noise level has been slightly elevated on the 442.55 repeater since November 4.

Start:  8:00a 11/4/2025 (revised, estimated)
