CONTINUE: Significant RF performance degradation [VHF]

The 146.88 repeater continues to experience significant degradation of RF performance due to receiver overload caused by FM broadcast apparatus on and near the tower that hosts the RATS systems.  140 dB of FM broadcast notch filtering is currently in place, but the receiver remains overpowered due to the unique characteristics and circumstances of the newest interference source.  The repeater is currently transmitting at reduced output power.

The club is making arrangements to continue supporting our C4FM and WIRES-X users by relocating this functionality back to the 442.55 repeater within the next 1-2 weeks.

The use of C4FM digital is highly recommended when using the 146.88 repeater.
