Audition Update (re-send)

Greetings,

As you are now likely aware, Berkeley has announced that the first two weeks of instruction will be conducted remotely. However, "the campus will remain open; students, staff and faculty are welcome to come to campus for all other research, administration and operational purposes."

• In-person auditions will continue. At this time, in-person auditions will continue for those who desire the option. This is based on feedback from last semester that indicated an overwhelming preference for in-person auditions. Additionally, auditions are not instructional in and of themselves; rather, they are more operational. If you plan to audition in-person, please continue to follow the instructions online.
• Recorded auditions will be accepted. As an alternative for students who prefer to audition remotely, or who cannot travel to campus, recorded auditions will be accepted. Within the next 24 hours, look for an update on the UCBWE Audition Page with further instructions.

To summarize, you may choose to audition in-person or remotely. The method of audition you choose will not impact your consideration or placement in any way.
