Dear intiquan team,

I have a problem when I run the function “run_IQRsysProject” as part of the IQRtools package for R. I tried posting this issue in the google help group (IQR tools users group) but I’m not sure that it posted correctly, hence I’m sending you this email.

I have the following setup

est1 <- as_IQRsysEst(sysobj1)

proj1 <- IQRsysProject(est1,

                                         opt.nfits = 3

optsys1 <- run_IQRsysProject(proj1,

                                                     FLAGgof = FALSE)

But when I run the last part I get the following error message that I don’t really understand.

I have tried to understand what the argument “studyname” does but I don’t understand how I specify this argument when calling the function. Could you please inform me what I might be doing wrong?

I have the version 99.0.0 of IQRtools and versions 1.1.0 of the dMod and cOde packages installed.

Best regards

Hej Nicolas,

yeah ... installation of IQR Tools in combination with dMod is not the easiest thing. In this case it might be due to incompatibilities that are hard to handle when relying on CRAN.

I will send you an email with instructions on how it might be installed.

What we generally suggest though is to consider the use of IQdesktop ( simply because a) it runs on any system b) it has everything already installed and is "ready to go" c) it reproducibly will make it work.
