Dear developers sr,
    Since I followed the path in the guide for installation, the installation was successful, but during the preliminary test, I found some mistakes, I do not know how to solve them, would like to ask for help

3.1 IQR Tools

Note that IQR Tools is currently not on CRAN - but we are working on it. Use the command above to install both IQR Tools and its dependencies.

Test your installation by executing the following:

                 repos = c("",""),
                 dependencies = TRUE)
test_IQRtools()  # Should result in a data.frame

Looking at the error message you seem to be using R 4.1.0?
We have tested IQR Tools up to R4.0.3. And it might be that I only tested this on Linux and not on Windows.
R is a beast - and the non-default-availability of compilers on Windows (and thus the need for Rtools) renders it even more beasty.

Three suggestions to solve the problem:
  1. Not very helpful: Consider your Rtools installation
  2. Not exciting: Use R3.6.3, and the appropriate Rtools
  3. Easiest with 100% success guarantee (if you run Windows 10): Consider installation of IQdesktop (
