dpkg-deb error ver.1.8

Hi Tim

Im trying to installa grase version 1.8_all.deb and im encountering error:

dpkg-deb erro: archive 'grase-repo_1.8_all.deb' has premature member 'control.tar.xz' before 'control.tar.gz' ....error exit status 2

Please advise

Unfortunately there is an issue with the package creation using xz
instead of gzip for the 16.04 packages. I've not been able to get this
to work, especially given I built the packages under 16.04.

Can I recommend you try the following commands instead of worrying
about grase-repo.
echo "deb http://packages.grasehotspot.org/ purewhite main" | sudo tee
/etc/apt/sources.list.d/grasehotspot.list
wget https://github.com/GraseHotspot/grase-repo/raw/master/key/grase.hotspot.2017.gpg
sudo cp grase.hotspot.2017.gpg /etc/apt/trusted.gpg.d/

Alternatively have a look at the new 4.0 Beta versions.
