Good Friday “Grieving All That’s Being Lost” Zoom Circle

Dearest Beloved Chalice Community,

It seems important with all that’s going on in our country and world at the moment, to have an opportunity to gather and share how you are doing. And Good Friday - a time of grieving - seems like the day to do it.

So I am offering an impromptu Zoom gathering TODAY from 5 - 6 pm

We will begin and end with a brief meditation, followed by a time of sharing what’s on your heart. It will be an opportunity to witness one another, not to solve problems, but to be heard in our grief and worries. I know this also falls during Passover, but I am hoping this call will come before people's Passover Seders begin.

Please have a candle ready to light in your space.

SUNDAY SERVICE

Onsite & Online ~  10 am

Reverend Nica Eaton

Easter - Joy Springs from Adversity

Easter is a time when we reflect on the themes of suffering, death, and resurrection—how the story of Jesus' crucifixion, which seemed like the ultimate loss, transformed into joy and renewal. For many of us, this moment represents the paradox of life itself—sometimes the worst thing can become the opening for something new, something beautiful, something full of joy. Join us this Easter as we celebrate our annual Flower Celebration to remember the beauty that arises from darkness.

Please bring a flower to share.

Chalice Lighting

To start your day, a meeting, or before a meal

We give thanks for life reborn.

We give thanks for joy to overcome loss and pain.

We give thanks for the earth as it blooms its renewal.

We give thanks that all living things are revived.

As a sign of our gratitude,

We light this chalice to welcome all new songs of life.

~ Mark Harris
