Chalice Lighting
To start your day, a meeting, or before a meal
While Joseph Campbell notes that “All life is sorrowful,” he
also proclaims that, “one has to affirm, with a yea! a dance! a …
dance of the mystic bliss beyond pain that is at the heart of
every mythic rite.” Perhaps that would be an aspirational
description of what it means to gather here in community… a
dance, a mythic rite as we come together with our joys and
sorrows in tow… a willingness to contain all of that-- with one
another in community. So, we light our chalice today as a
reminder, a source of light, a centerpiece around which our
spirits might engage in that dance.

Neighborhood Networks Dot Sunday
Stay after service Sunday March 23
to connect with your neighbors!
It is a great opportunity to connect with Chalice members and friends who live near you and get to know each other in a smaller group setting.
There will be both in person and virtual options.
Any questions? Reach out to Sharon Slentz who is our
Neighborhood Network Director.
We will no longer read texts and Zoom chat joys and sorrows.
Instead please email any joys and sorrows prior to service by 8 am on Sunday mornings to this address: j...@chaliceuu.org.
You may still fill out cards if you are attending in person.
Chalice Families Are Invited to Join the As One Harmony Choir
We welcome ‘As One Harmony’ to Chalice. Chalice families are offered the opportunity to participate in any of the choirs!
