OpenCL support either through WebCL or NaCl?

New chromebooks come with the Exynos 5250 with the Mali T604 GPU. Mali T604 does support OpenCL. However, I am not sure if the Chromebooks ship with a working OpenCL driver and there is no way to access OpenCL currently in Chromium OS that I know of.

Wondering if there is any plan to
a) Ship OpenCL drivers on the Chromebooks
b) Make them accessible to app developers through either WebCL or NaCl?

We generally don't talk publically about roadmaps of Chrome or Chrome OS. I can confirm that there is no current way to use OpenCL on this hardware.

This is extremely unfortunate and hope Google makes available a way to access OpenCL. What is the point of shipping capable hardware if developers can't access it?

you can't really get a GPU that doesn't support OpenCL anymore

at any rate, this is the ChromiumOS list.  asking about WebCL support in the Chromium browser would be better posed to the Chromium list.
