Chrome Web Store Reviews Not Appearing

Hello all!

I am receiving emails from the Chrome Web Store saying that reviews are being added to my extension, but when I go to the extension's listing page, they don't appear. Is this a known issue?

I experienced this too. My hunch is that some reviews (ones containing links and certain keywords?) get flagged for a manual review and can take a few days to process. Same thing happens to responses to reviews. I would greatly appreciate if CWS team could confirm and clarify what is the policy there.

Noticing the reviews are also not showing on store pages (until you click through to read all reviews). I wonder if it's all related?

I can confirm the same behavior on my side, reviews started to disappear again... 😿😿

Chrome Developers, please provide some feedback and expectation about resolving the issue...

Is I the only one who still experiencing the issue with reviews? 

I still get notifications about new reviews but can`t find them on app review page... 

It happens with some random order, some notifications are visible, some are not. First time I though user might delete his review, but after a talk with one of users I see that he can see his review, but I can`t... Also Developer Dashboard > App > Rating page doesn`t show this review...

Any feedback from chrome-dev team?

Can confirm, the same is true for my extension. I got a notification of a (very nice) review on 12/9 and its still not showing, at least for me, on the Store page. (fialfmcgpibjgdoeodaondepigiiddio FWIW)

Reviews are still not showing on the listing page and new reviews are not being posted. My originally noted review from 12/9 is still not visible four full weeks later. 

Chrome Developer Relations folks, is there an understanding of this as an issue and a plan to address?

If you have reviews that you've had emails about but aren't appearing from the last week or so, could you forward them to me? I can then take a look on our end to see what happened and figure out if this is a larger issue.

Is no longer showing the past 3 reviews on the Chrome Web Store listing page an intentional change? Right now, you can only see reviews if you go to /reviews.

I'm also experiencing this same exact issue. Got a number of notifications that there were new reviews for our extention, but when loading the listing in the store, the main extension download page says "0 Reviews", but if you follow the link to read reviews, the reviews are indeed posted. 

Would love to get updated on any bug-fixes to this.

Thanks for your patience. There are a couple of different issues being discussed here so I'll try to address each of them.

If you're receiving notifications about reviews which aren't spam, and aren't showing up after a short period of time, please continue to let us know about those. That's definitely unintentional and we can take a look.

Showing reviews on the main item details pages was something we introduced with the new Chrome Web Store. Based on data we’re seeing, the team made a product decision to make that section more concise, and to use the /reviews page to show the actual reviews. It's clear from this thread that a lot of you liked them showing on the main page so I'll definitely pass on that feedback.

Joel - the behavior you mentioned where the main page explicitly states there are no reviews when reviews are present sounds like a bug. Could you share your extension ID? Happy to take a look and see what's happening there.

I'm also having this issue, along with others. Many reviews with lower ratings are missing, while reviews with the highest ratings are visible to everyone. How is this possible? Is the algorithm broken, or did Google incorporate AI to stifle negative reviews?
