onbeforeunload in packaged apps

Hi,

I'd like to enable "confirm save unsaved documents before exit" feature in packaged apps. Firstly, I found window.onbeforeunload seems not work. This API belongs to "Disabled Web Features" (http://developer.chrome.com/trunk/apps/app_deprecated.html). Actually, I expect to get the "before-window-close" event and show confirm dialog in Javascript popup. Will packaged app provide such kind of feature and when? Thanks.
