Having Difficulty in Getting my Listing Images Approved in the Google Chrome Web Store ...

Hi there:

Lately, I have not been successful in getting my listing images get approved ...

The reason for rejection is having too much white space which is not applicable to my images.

Is it possible to have somebody on the Google end look into this?  I would like to know what is wrong with my images  -- I do not understand why they need to be rejected?

That makes at least two of us! I'm quite convinced that some minimum wage earner has fallen foul of the "we are God, so F**K you" arrogance that is so typical of Google.

You don't understand the concept of white space..  think of it less as "white" space, and more as "empty" space, which your image has quite a lot of.  Just because you made the "white" space blue, it's still there.  You either need to make the text bigger, or get something else going on in that image.

Well I certainly understand the concept of white space. What I'd like to know is, how does one image get accepted for one app, but rejected for another? Yes, the exact same image, that I submitted for two different apps!

In a different case, I submitted the exact same image (a different image to the 1st case I mentioned) for two other apps. One gets rejected for "Too much text" and "Too much detail." For the 2nd app, the same image got rejected for "Too much whitespace" So one image can have too much text, too much detail AND too much whitespace?!

In a third case, I submitted the following image: -

And it was reject for "Too much detail" I simplified the image, and submitted the following: -

And it gets rejected for "Too much whitespace"

There are currently promo images published on CWS that have MUCH more white-space, and that are WAY more detailed. So please explain the consistency of promo image assessment.

I think there's a serious bug over there! The same situation has
happened to me and my two apps has been rejected 5-6 times with the
same reason. It seems that images which was rejected once don't ever
get updated after re-uploading or deleting/uploading the new images.

So, the editors always sees the old images which they rejected! I know
it because I've uploaded at least 10 images which they're really
different than each other but reasons for rejection was totally same.

Actualy I'm really pissed of after one month and I decided to resubmit
them again...
