Summary

The main customer for hrefTranslate origin trial is just starting to experiment with it next week. Unfortunately it is also ending in M75. We ask that due to the late start due to a number of customer deployment issues (nothing with the feature itself) the experiment be extended by two milestones so we have sufficient data for analysis.

M76-M78

Any risks when the experiment finishes?

The feature is detectable (HTMLAnchorElement.prototype.hasOwnProperty('hrefTranslate')) so sites can determine based on that if they have specific features that require the usage of this.

Ongoing technical constraints

None

Will this feature be supported on all five Blink platforms supported by Origin Trials (Windows, Mac, Linux, Chrome OS, and Android)?

Yes

According to the previous intent, the feature was already on trial since M72. Is that correct?

The API owners have previously discussed setting a hard limit on experimentation for 6 releases. (which would put us in M77)
At the same time, the main reason for that was fear of de-facto baking in the feature to the platform, and have sites relying on its support.
From what you say and from the 0% usage here, this doesn't seem to be the case.

LGTM to experiment till the end of M77. If more data is needed beyond that point, please let us know, and we'll see if we should make an exception for this case.
