Apple plans to have more BTWD's over the course of next few months at different locations. The theme is coffee and conversation from 7.30 am to 10.00 am. Tentative dates are -
- Apple Park July 14th
- Wolfe Campus July 21st
- Infinite Loop August 11th
Someone from Apple reached out to ask if we could have some local team members/Biketivists (Apple Park - 3 or 4 and all others probably 2) at these locations. The idea is to encourage employees to ride to work, stop by and grab a coffee or juice and have them come with cycling related questions. I think this would be a great opportunity to discuss/talk about what your team is working on, some current projects, challenges and how all of us can get involved to make Silicon Valley a more cycling friendly place to live and work. And hopefully, get them involved in our local team work and create some champions inside Apple who can recruit more Apple employees.
No formal presentation needed just a way to strike up meaningful conversations with fellow cyclists.
What do you think about this opportunity? Will you be able to recruit some volunteers from your end for these days?
