Is your institution using the Sakai Google Drive integration?

Hi all,

I'm wondering which institutions are using the Google Drive integration
with Sakai and what's their opinions about it, we're going to work on an
extension and want to see what's the adoption level.

We are testing the integration currently for consideration of a fall rollout, if our testing is successful.

P.S. I do want to place a shout-out for SAK-46846 ( https://sakaiproject.atlassian.net/browse/SAK-46846 ) to add cloud drive integration in Resources.  If a solution for Resources was available by fall, we would be thrilled!

We had set up a test instance with Google Drive enabled (20.x) and granted access to our groups of instructional support types and general computing support types across the system.  The general consensus was that the added support issues outweighed the technological and UI gains.  So at this time, it's not enabled in our service.  We do run a singular service for all higher education institutions in the state.  The perspective may be different if your service supports fewer campuses or a smaller base of users.

... of course we'll re-look at it again if new features are available.
