Hello:
I am getting the message (We were notified of new data but
available() is 0) from RxTxSerialComm.java once in a while. I am
wondering if there are any known common causes? Is it a serious
issue? Is it potentially caused by a radio collision with another
element with the same destination? I have a star network with 5
radios communicating with the same xstick destination.(802.15.4)
Thanks,
Ed Jones

I havent seen that but I recall someone else mentioning it - try searching the group.  Is it possible that you have two processes both reading from the same serial port? This is what rxtx is reporting so out of my control.

Andrew:
Thank you for the reply.  It turns out that you had an exchange with Ted Meyers in May 2011.
I will follow his line of thinking.
Thanks,
Ed
