You haven't explained anything about what versions of the extension and companion app your using.

Just saying having problems or not working is too vague and doesn't help at all. There are now beta extensions available for Firefox,

Chrome and Edge, so if it's not working try one of those beta extensions and perhaps it may work. Or it might not.

You have to test it out and find out.

I have been using Firefox  8.0.0.6 and Chrome 8.0.0.7 for months now and I'm not having an issue until the website change their name.

I tried the latest Beta versions on both but not seem to be working as well, even tried companion app 1.6.3 and 2.0.10 but it is still not working

Hey, Mikey, I have been going through the same thing that you are from Recu.me formerly Recurebate.com  Dude IDK what happened but nothing worked when it was working just fine until I upgraded Google Chrome with its new look and features. I was soo frustrated and furious and I tried everything like i now will need to pay for the premium because other video downloaders are crap  this is def the best that I know of that will download at recu.me anyways hope you get it fixed

Also having problems with recurbate/recu.me. The problem did start around the same time they added the new recu.me url, though I expect that's coincidence.  I'm using DownloadHelper 8.0.0.6 with licensed companion app VdhCoApp 2.0.8.

New [mis]behavior: After starting a download, download may drop anywhere from 0% complete to 18% complete (over the dozen or so times I've tried on the same 1.6GB video).  Partial download file closes properly and results in a playable mp4 file (as opposed to being a ".part" file left behind).  % complete of  dropped download seems pretty random on repeated attempts of same video. 

Previously, when downloads were working, I would do a "Copy URL" in case the download dropped for whatever reason and then paste it into the browser address bar and it would play the video and resume the download.  Now, after pasting into the address bar, I get a save file dialog that wants to save file "index.m3u8".

No difference in behavior whether downloading via companion app or browser.  No difference in behavior under Firefox or Edge.

Hope there's a clue in there somewhere.

I got a partial download on 8.0.0.6 + companion app 2.0.9 , although I had a vpn enabled. Maybe it does the same without vpn.

On the beta 8.1.0.0a9 + companion app 2.0.9 , it failed in a few seconds with the error :
