It seems the netbook Acer D255 is as good as it gets, at the moment at a
reasonable price?
What is the cheapest way to connect up to the internet please, on pay as you
go; and still be mobile? Thanks.

"Any number under six"
The answer given by Englishman Richard Peeke when asked by the Duke of
Medina Sidonia how many Spanish sword and buckler men he could beat
single handed with a quarterstaff.
At the most, it would be two or three emails a day and perhaps a
quarter of an hour online.

Also check out the HP DM1z or Lenovo S205, I've just bought one of the
latter to replace a Dell Mini9.
I don't think anyone is selling the 3G model here yet, and the 2nd mPCIe
slot isn't fitted to the WiFi-only model, so you can't fit one yourself.
e.g. Ringfenced Three 3Pay monthly for £5 (2gb d/l limit) can be cheaper
than say 6 days in a month on a £1 each day tariff
