P L E A S E . . . The claim that cyclists CANNOT hurt pedestrians is
absurd. The only time I have EVER seen this assertion is from Mr
Cheerful and anything said by him has to be taken with a lorra lorra salt.

Injury can be fatal. The regularity of it and the liklihood of it
happening is a different matter.

Agreed, but those in control of vehicles need to be responsible for
their actions. Obeying the law and sticking to the rules is not nearly
enough. They need to take care, and take responsibility.
