They are so happy with it that both company names are shown twice on the
front of the phone. A funny piece of crap it is, because it looks like
it's upside down and you have to put your ear next to a scroll wheel to
hear something, very intuitive. On the backside there is an aluminium
cover you can flip over to access an ashtray or something.

Its worthwhile clicking on the tabs, just for amusement, apparently the
shape was inspired by pebbles and it has a sensi-touch display (reminds
me of something or other) and of course an ashtray as mentioned. The
ring tones are really worth a listen.

bumper car! So it should be pretty good if you drop it. Unlike an
iPhone, which I'd be scared to use anywhere but a bouncy castle.

...and if it's a B&O product, it'll sound like crap. The B&O fan element
won't accept this and will insist it's the pinnacle of sound engineering.
If there's one thing more blind to faults than an Apple 'fanboy', it's a B&O

You only need to read that website to quickly see its unique selling points
compared to an iPhone is that it does less (and I've already criticised the
iPhone for lacking functions) and it's a damn sight uglier. So why would
anyone want one?

I've seen YouTube videos of them being dropped, and yes, usually a bit
of scuffing around the edges is the sum total of damage, but still, I'd
be very nervous about testing one's resiliency myself.

B & O do have an excellent reputation but...for beauty, not quality.
Their products are relatively mundane in terms of electronic quality
but they do look beautiful.
Inside a well-designed box is very ordinary electronics but no one will
complain because, perhaps, their amateur ears are over-ruled (or
fooled) by their gratified eyes.
I'm not complaining. In a domestic setting, you couldn't ask for much
more. But, for professional or serious amateur use, no.
And, I think, top-end pricing. But that's design for you.
