මට Domain name එකක් සමග හොද Web hosting
service ඒකක අවශ්‍යයි Web site එකක් launch කරන්න. මට හොද Hosting
Service ඒකක් හොයන්න තියේන උවමනාව නිසා මම ගොඩක් Tech Reviews වගේ දේවල්
කියවූවා. ඒවුනාට ඒවගේ තියෙන එකිනෙකට ගොඩක් වේනස් හොද පැහැදිලි අදහසක්
ගන්න බැරි තත්වයක් තියෙන්නේ.
මට අවශ්‍ය:
1. ගෙවිය හැකි මාසික මිලක්
2. හොද මාසික Bandwidth එකක්
3. Cpanel එකක් සහිත භාවිතයට පහසුබව
4. PHP/MYSQL උදව්ව

ඔයා lkservers වලින් ගන්න අදහසක් තියනවනං මම දෙන උපදෙස lkservers වලින්
ඩොමේන් එකක්වත් හොස්ටිං පැකේජ් එකක්වත් ගන්න නං එපා. මොකද මම එකෙන්
ඩොමේන් 3 විතර අරන් තියනවා. හොස්ටිං පැකේජ් එකකුත් අරන් තියනවා. මොකක්
හරි ප්‍රශ්නයක් වුනාම ඒක හදල දෙන්න දවස 3 විතර ගන්නවා. කෝල් කලාට ෆෝන්
ඔක්කොම ඕෆ්. ටිකට් එකක් දැම්මට ඒවලට රිප්ලයි එන්නේ දවස 2-3 පස්සේ. සමහර
වෙලාවට එහෙමත් නෑ. මගේ ප්‍රොජෙක්ට් එකට ගත්තු හොස්ටිං එක ඩවුන් වෙලා දවස
3 ගියා හදන්න. එයාලව කන්ටැක්ට් කරගන්න මම නොගත්ත උත්සාහයක් නෑ. බැරිම තැන
අයිතිකාරයාගේ ෆේස්බුක් එකෙන් මැසේජ් එකකුත් දැම්ම. ඒත් කිසිම
ප්‍රතිචාරයක් ලැබුනේ නෑ. කවදාවත් දන්නා කෙනෙකුටවත් lkservers වලින් නම්
ඩොමේන්, හොස්ටිං ගන්න දෙන්නවත් එපා.

වෙබ් අඩවියට අවෂය වන disk Space, bandwidth වැනි දේ ගැන හිතල හොද සේවාවක් මිලදීගන්න. මතක තියාගන්න ලාභෙට ගත්තහම හැබැයි වැඩි quality එකක් තියෙන සේවාවක් නම් ගන්න අමාරුයි.

1. මට නම් .lk ඕන නෑ මටත් රජිත් කියපු දේම කෙනෙක් කිව්වා.

10$ කට පමණ ගත හැක. .com නම් ගෝඩැඩී ලාභයි. 30% ක පමණ ඩිස්කවුන්ට් තියෙනව අනික් ඒවට http://www.namecheap.com/ හොදයි. 

3. මොකද Godaddy? ඒකෙ Cpanel එහෙම නෑ කියල එක Tech Review එකක තිබුණා ඒක ඇත්තද? අනික ඒකෙ ගානත් ටිකක් වැඩිලු.

හොද හොස්ටින්  පැකේජ් ගනන්, control panel එක මොකක් වුනත් කරන්න පුළුවන් වැඩ ඔක්කෝම තියෙනව සාමාන්‍යෙයන්.

4. Bluehost වගේ ඒවායෙත් ගාන මොකද? සාධාරණද? ඒ ගොල්ලෙ Money Back කරනවා Week එකක් යනකන් කියලත් කියනවා. පාවිච්චි කරපු අය ඉන්නවද?

හොද ආයතනයක්, මම ඇතුළු බොහෝ අය භාවිතා කරනව. පළමු අවුරුද්දෙ ගාන අඩු වුනාට දෙවන අවුරුද්දෙ ඉදල ගාන වැඩියි (10 $ per month වගේ) . 

5. තව මේ Hosting Trade කියලා එක්ක තියෙන්වාලු ඒකෙ ගනන් අඩු වුනාට සේවය චාලු. ඇත්ත්ද මේ කතා ඔයගොල්ලෙ හිතන්නේ මොකක්ද වැඩිය හොද?

If traffic is less the cheapest is https://www.nearlyfreespeech.net/ But they don't offer CPanel

If you want CPanel then the cheapest I found was http://www.hostingtrade.com/hosting/ only $15 per year.

I used their service and it's all right. But the servers go down at least 1-2 hours per month. If you can live with that then it's a good option.

Later I moved to http://www.asmallorange.com/hosting/shared/

$25 per year and reliability has been very good up to now

5. තව මේ Hosting Trade කියලා එක්ක තියෙන්වාලු ඒකෙ ගනන් අඩු වුනාට සේවය චාලු. ඇත්ත්ද මේ කතා ඔයගොල්ලෙ හිතන්නේ මොකක්ද වැඩිය හොද?

Their customer service is good. They always reply for tickets within few hours. But I wouldn't recommend their hosting plans for a business. For personal use it should be fine. Like I said in my previous mail normal downtime per month is around 1-2 hours.

Don't purchase the domain name and hosting from the same company. 

If there's any disagreement between you and the hosting provider you can easily switch providers if you have full control over your domain name.

I use nearlyfreespeech.net and godaddy.

I've heard good things about joker.com and gandi.net (but little expensive)

කොහොමද අපි මේ NearlyFreeSpeech, joker,gandi වගේ hosting කරන අයගෙන් domain name එක විතරක් purchase කරන්නේ. එතකොට ගානෙ අඩුවක් වෙනව්ද? අපි domain name එක විතරක් ගන්න නිසා.

Domain name විතරක් නම්, http://www.namecheap.com/  http://1and1.com  (namecheap වල ගාන අඩු වෙන්න coupon තියෙනවා)
