1949年的那些人事物系列報導(3) (中央社記者葉素萍台北8日電)祖籍江蘇的前民進黨立委段宜康，他的父親段守愚是前大華晚報的總編
輯，兩代之間原本不甚相同的政治立場，到最後相互認同支持。他們的故事，刻劃出兩岸分治60年錯綜複雜的情結。
1948年國共內戰，19歲的段守愚被家人送到台灣避難。相較於父親隻身來台，段宜康的母親在1945年就舉家遷至台灣。段宜康幾個阿姨都是
嫁給隨政府來台的外省籍軍人，逢年過節大夥兒都在段宜康外婆家圍爐。
一堆外孫圍著外婆，由外婆作莊、擲骰子的熱鬧場面，是段宜康最深刻的過年印象。他笑說，「一直到長大後才知道，原來一般人過年圍爐不會到外婆
家過」，但對像段宜康的父親、姨丈這種離鄉背景的人來說，「這個就是家，這是家的溫暖」。
段宜康祖父是留美的學生，父親段守愚也嚮往英美的民主政治，對當時國民黨威權政治有所不滿。段宜康說，他從小就看父親藏起來的禁書，對他的意
識型態啟蒙，有很大的影響。
段宜康是綠營中少見的外省第二代，成長過程有兩件事對他影響甚深。小學三年期下學期某一天，他與班上同學吵架，同學用台語罵他「外省豬」，段
宜康知道這是罵人的話，卻不解其意。段守愚告訴他，這是歷史悲劇、歷史包袱留下來的傷痛，並且從二二八事件開始解釋起。
另一件則是「總統牌香菸」事件，在那個聽到總統、蔣公就要立正的年代，段宜康有一天和弟弟聽到電視上播放公賣局總統牌香菸廣告，也調皮地立正
站好。段守愚當場告訴段宜康兄弟，「沒有一個人值得我們這樣表達尊敬」。
段宜康說，父親個性溫和，即使對時局不滿，他也不會有具體的反抗行動，只會表現在這些事情上。父親總是告訴他「台灣也是我的家」，但段守愚對
民進黨或台獨路線，仍有些「感情上的障礙」。一直到開放探親，離鄉40餘年的段守愚首次赴中國探親，回來後，他的態度丕變。
段宜康說，父親看到中國大陸對待中國人民的態度後，態度明顯改變，不僅認為台灣一定要獨立，也開始在每次選舉中支持民進黨。
段宜康的姨、舅都是新黨支持者，段宜康加入綠營從政，讓父母和親友翻臉，雙方曾為了政治發生嚴重衝突，段守愚在世時，甚至不讓段宜康的阿姨們
進到家門。段宜康說，也因此，扁家後來爆出弊案，成了段守愚過世前最傷心的一件事。
段宜康認為，隨著時勢變化，族群對抗的情況已經沒有那麼嚴重，雖然每遇選舉還是會發生，但已逐漸往好的方向在走。尤其是民進黨內，扁式操
作被證明是傷害後，黨內族群操作的情況也漸漸少了，往良性、正面的方式去走。981108
