Hunger is wonderful ! ! !
It's how we know the answer to the question "What does Jesus

Why do so many intelligent christians who are moderate in politics,
generous in charity and works, devoted to peace, and tolerent of
others put up with the crap the evangelical Religious Reich throws at
America daily in the name of Jesus the Christ? When decent christians
do not protest assholes like Fred Phelps, Pat Robertson and fellow
taliban Falwell then the asses become the only speakers for Christ.
At least that is the challenge I think non-christians can't
understand.
JohnN
Because we love them.
Loving them is in keeping with WDJW:
"A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so
you must love one another." -- LORD Jesus Christ (John 13:34)
Amen.
Similarly, we put up with you and other non-christians because this is
also in keeping with WDJW:
"Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may
be sons of your Father in heaven." -- LORD Jesus Christ (Matthew
5:44-45)
Amen.
We, who are Christians (either Jew or gentile), are neither perfect
nor more special...
... we are simply forgiven by GOD:
http://www.interviewwithgod.com/forgiven
May you wisely and freely choose to be forgiven too and thus become
able to publicly declare with your mouth that "Jesus is LORD:"

Not by the discerning.
We, who are Jesus' disciples (either Jew or gentile), remain the only
ones truly rational keeping the commandments of LORD Almighty GOD, Who
has the power to blot out the existence of all those who displease

Bottom line:
You who are unable to publicly say that "Jesus is LORD" remain truly

PDW
Dearly departed Bob Pastorio did not believe in fairy tales or
legends.
His problem was his suffering from the delusion that "hunger is
starvation" so that he had the irrational compulsion to overeat
thereby accumulating so much VAT that he was afflicted by coronary
heart disease plus a weakened immune system that allowed cancer to
invade and destroy his body.
Folks unable to publicly say "Jesus is LORD," which is absolutely
true, are wide-open as dear Bob was and as you dear Adonis are to all
sorts of harmful delusions like "hunger is starvation," and "craving
cigarettes is bad."

Chunks, you haven't yet shown that you are able to publicly say "Jesus
is LORD." I asked you to post a video of yourself doing so on YouTube
to which you replied that Jesus and God didn't want you to do that
now.
So if you aren't willing or able to do so yourself publicly, and
you've declared that saying so (in this written medium of Usenet) on
the computer doesn't count, then you haven't yet been able to say
"Jesus is LORD" publicly either.
Put up or shut up, Chung.

But somehow the flood never wiped out the koalas and kangaroos in
Australia or the pandas in China or, of course, the humans. Ever
considered the possibility that story is a didactic narrative* and not
history?
* Perhaps an exaggerated memory of an actual event; there is some
archeological evidence that suggests there was a huge local flood when
the Mediterranean eroded the natural dam and flooded the Black Sea,
which before that had a lower water level with habitations around the
ancient shorelines. A similar flood legend existed in the lore of
other Near East cultures the time.

normal death for humans (cancer), not from the wrath of any vengeful
god.

The source of your irrational compulsion is the delusion that "craving

Smokers who no longer suffer from this delusion know that "craving

Early medical belief that people of color ( blacks ) have a different
blood type than a white person. As a result doctors did not preform
transfusions from a black to a white person. Your belief in this bible
and it's stories are as ridiculous as the belief of a different blood
between a black man and a white man. Your belief in the bible and your
holding it as inerrant is as stupid as the early medical belief that a
proper medical treatment is blood letting. If you believe the myths,
legends and out right lies of the bible, there is no telling what
medical myths you hold on too and how many people you have killed out
of shear ignorance, no matter how "innocent" your intentions may have
been. You are most likely guilty of murder.

No. Often, the cravings are *why* otherwise rational people continue

The distribution of blood types is provably different among "blacks"
than "whites". Particularly among blacks in Africa where "blacks" tend
to have fewer "white" ancestors.
So the error seems to be more among those who publicly do claim that
Jesus is some sort of a lord.

There is a difference between can not and choose not to, which idiot
Chung seems unaware of.
How much is Chung willing to bet on his claim?

In this context, that is a distinction without a difference.

The OP's claim has the force of Scripture. I realize that is an authority
you neither recognize nor understand, but that simply underscores the point
..
And there is not a single piece of Autograph source material to prove
scripture is anything but fabricated nonsense. It underscore the point
that there is no "force" that can be proven behind chungs claims - or yours.

Instead of making such a hasty generalization,
shouldn't you at least figure out
what the messages are?
What is the message of Jesus?

Indeed, non-christians are in that special part of the Venn diagram
where there is an overlap with what GOD wants, which is to keep them
from being able to say "Jesus is LORD" and so they will remain unable.

Thus, GOD is glorified by the fact that GOD ultimately gets what He
wants which is in keeping with WDJW.

There's a point of authority and Scripture that I'd like your input
on here, George. Doctor Chung has informed us that it is a sin
to eat more than 32 ounce.s of food on any given day *. Would you

>concur with this opinion?
Well, the Bible enjoins against gluttony (Prov 23:21), so if gluttony is
defined as > 32 oz of food, yes. Otherwise, no. Without setting specific
upper limits, I think it's a fair statement that all of us who live in the
US eat more food than is healthy for us .. So, I might argue over the
specifics, but I agree with the general point. Further, the Bible advocates
a practice that most in modern day society would consider unhealthy, namely
fasting. I think it would be good for us, physically as well as
spiritually, to embrace that notion ..
As well might I. In fact, I have.
However, it is the specifics that I am asking about here. Chung
bases that on the Bible, informing us that exactly two pounds of food is
what everyone last person the world should be eating, every day:
That is how Exodus 16:16 reads thereby revealing that there is this
one right amount of food (omer) for everyone irrespective of either
gender or height or occupation.
and further, that:
"An omer of manna weighs 32 ounces." -- Holy Spirit (concerning Exodus 16:36)
Oddly enough, I cannot find a single translation of Exodus, nor
any scholarly source -- and I have looked, and mor than once --
which claims that "An omer of manna weighs 32 ounces".
Are you aware of any such?

>Are you aware of any such?
No. And, I don't see any virtue or necessity for limiting ourselves to
Israelite dietary regulations.
And neither do I.
Andrew Chung, however, views what I have mentioned as God's
designation of the precise optimal intake of food (type
of food not specified, only weight) for every single
man and woman on the planet, regardless of any other
consideration.

Yes; truth is, we can see how God works within the world he created.
We may not know all the answers about quantum physics or other
mysteries but we see that what we do know works systematically,
regularly, and predictably--i.e., in accord with scientific laws.
There is no evidence that God himself works outside those laws which
describe what he made and pronounced "good."

Your correct there is no need to smoke, now try reading my posts. I
say that a smoker is addicted, the need is a chemical dependence and a
mental dependence. To that person there is a need to smoke, which is
why most all smokers who want to quite need medical and many times
mental help. If this were not true there would not be the many stop
smoking aids on the market as well as the many other "helps"
available. So in a way your correct, to a non-smoker there is no need
to smoke.
I see you never tuched on the subject of addiction in med school.

Only when GOD wants things to be predictable.

Your being unable to publicly say "Jesus is LORD" is not explainable
by science.
Such is the work of the Holy Spirit.
"The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you
cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with
everyone born of the Spirit." -- LORD Jesus Christ (John 3:8)

But is easily and often disproved by science.
All one has to do is make it worthwhile for someone to say that
publicly, and it will be done by myriads of non-xtians.
As long as those payoffs continue.
That is what is called "rice xtianity".
And it is more widespread than xtianity will admit.
Where is your evidence that non-christians are unable to publically
say "Jesus is LORD"?
I would imagine that you would be unwilling to utter "Satan is LORD".
Correct?
But the fact that you do not utter this phrase is NOT proof that Satan
is the real ruler of the universe and that He prevents you from saying
it. Non-christians have no desire to say "Jesus is LORD" just as you
have no desire to say "Satan is LORD". Our desires and your desires
do not prove that either one of us is PREVENTED from doing something
we do not want to do.
If you disagree, post to Youtube a video of you saying "Satan is
LORD". I will reply with a video of me saying "Jesus is LORD". If
you are unwilling to do so, then your reasons for not doing so are as
valid as mine and neither have anything to do with the supernatural.

Why would non Christians want to say that?
Messianic Jews use Messiah's real name, so they have no use for the
J-word. Atheists, whom I suppose you actually meant to attack, simply
don't believe it; so, they have no honest reason to say it.
There are a few Atheists who look like they are trolling religious
NG's, but I can see from the cross post that crazy people who claim to
be christians defy the biblical mandate not to attack or harass people
who do not believe in God. So, you create your own opposition by
disobeying God. No wonder Athesists post so many atricles to these
NGs. You should stop posting to alt.atheism.
Chung, since you are not a physician of any sort, and have
demonstrated that you have less knowledge of medicine than a less than
average grocery store bag boy, amybe you should stop posting/trolling
your antibiblical religious opinions in sci.med.cardiology too.
Since you are obviously uneducated and uneducateable, you should stop
posting to alt.education.
Chung, you have demonstrated that you are deeply ignorant of the
Bible. There are some people in these religious NGs who might be
willing to explain some things to you, but you would be better off
finding a church or synagogue for expert help with straightening out
your theological errors. So you should stop posting to
alt.christnet.christianlife and alt.christnet.theology too.

But of course you've turned it on its head [surprise, surprise!],
again because your knowledge of the Bible is abysmal. Paul is
instructing a congregation concerned whether newcomers to their group
are truly Christian, since some of them were "speaking in tongues" in
meetings. Paul tells the group that if such a person curses Jesus it
is obvious: "Therefore I want you to understand that no one speaking
by the Spirit of God ever says 'Jesus be cursed!' and no one can say
'Jesus is Lord' except by the Holy Spirit."
IOW, the issue is within the Christian group, and has nothing to do
with outsiders or forcing people into belief. And so too, obviously,
it has nothing to do with *public* declarations of faith. Give it up.

The Bible was written before the invention of the almighty dollar, which
can influence even atheists to do such stupid things as plublicly
declaiming the lie that 'Jesus is Lord'.
If you doubt this, put up, say, a $100 prize for the each atheist who
does it and you will soon be broke and deep in debt.
Money (30 pieces of silver) motivated Judas do the stupid thing of
betraying Jesus so that the concept of money motivating people to do
things that they otherwise would not want to do was not alien to
apostle Paul, who was inspired by the Holy Spirit to write "...no one
can say, 'Jesus is LORD,' except by the Holy Spirit." (1 Corinthians
12:3)
Bottom line:
According to what is written in Scripture, there is no amount of money
that can make it possible for a non-christian to say "Jesus is LORD."

Chung's beliefs to the contrary.

Bottom line: you can't produce any Bible quotation about money in

confession of faith. Headline, bottom line, and all in between: you
lie again. Why am I not surprised.

Because you and other non-christians are ugly to GOD, He really does
