Actually not.

Note that Samson was in chains as a prisoner and carried no bomb.

Suicide linked with mass murder was the ancient equivalent of the
modern suicide bombing.

The fact that Sampson was in chains as a prisoner would make him
unlike the modern suicide bomber. Moreover, to kill your captors
after their gouging your eyes out would not be murder.

Truth remains simple.

"The fact that Sampson was in chains as a prisoner would make him unlike

Reminds me of a joke:

1st person, "you murdered your wife on oct 5".
2nd person, "you liar, it was oct 4".

Truth is simple, and this is simply the truth.

Samson killed himself and many innocent others by willful intention
using a device at hand.

God bless.

Call it what you will. Anyone who kills many people when committing
suicide is a mass murderer.

Actually I have not called it anything but rather you have called it
murder.

There are stories of American POWs doing similar things during WWII.

They are heroes rather than murderers.

Truth is still simple.

Glad you brought that up. How do you feel about the
bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, especially after
every one of the Manhattan District scientists signed
a petition that the device not be dropped?

Fiction.

That was hardly what the petitions asked. And the petitions were
hardly signed by "every one" of the scientists.

They did unwisely choose to bring the U.S. into the war with their
sneak attack on Pearl Harbor murdering many and sinking many ships of
the Pacific fleet except for the one that was invincible because it
has GOD's armor:

A demonstration would have allowed us to feel a little better about
our morals, but it would have reduced the shock that the bombs caused
to the Japanese.

Here are the petitions I am aware of:

http://www.dannen.com/decision/oakridge1.html
http://www.dannen.com/decision/oakridge2.html
http://www.dannen.com/decision/45-07-17.html

They tended to request that the bombs be used only under certain
conditions (like only after Japan was told the surrender terms, or
warned of the pending use of the bombs). But they didn't outright
oppose the bombs' eventual use.

"Japanese submarine slammed two torpedoes into our side, Chief. We
was comin' back from the island of Tinian to Leyte... just delivered
the
bomb. The Hiroshima bomb. Eleven hundred men went into the water.
Vessel went down in 12 minutes. Didn't see the first shark for about
a
half an hour. Tiger. 13-footer. You know how you know that when
you're
in the water, Chief? You tell by looking from the dorsal to the tail.
What
we didn't know, was our bomb mission had been so secret, no distress
signal had been sent. They didn't even list us overdue for a week.
Very
first light, Chief, sharks come cruisin', so we formed ourselves into
tight
groups. You know, it was kinda like old squares in the battle like you
see
in the calendar named "The Battle of Waterloo" and the idea was:
shark
comes to the nearest man, that man he starts poundin' and hollerin'
and
screamin' and sometimes the shark go away... but sometimes he
wouldn't
go away. Sometimes that shark he looks right into ya. Right into your
eyes.
And, you know, the thing about a shark... he's got lifeless eyes.
Black eyes.
Like a doll's eyes. When he comes at ya, doesn't seem to be living...
until
he bites ya, and those black eyes roll over white and then... ah then
you
hear that terrible high-pitched screamin'. The ocean turns red, and
despite
all the poundin' and the hollerin', they all come in and they... rip
you to pieces.
You know by the end of that first dawn, lost a hundred men. I don't
know how
many sharks, maybe a thousand. I know how many men, they averaged six
an hour. On Thursday morning, Chief, I bumped into a friend of mine,
Herbie
Robinson from Cleveland. Baseball player. Boatswain's mate. I thought
he
was asleep. I reached over to wake him up. Bobbed up, down in the
water just
like a kinda top. Upended. Well, he'd been bitten in half below the
waist. Noon,
the fifth day, Mr. Hooper, a Lockheed Ventura saw us. He swung in low
and he
saw us... he was a young pilot, a lot younger than Mr. Hooper. Anyway,
he saw
us and he come in low and three hours later a big fat PBY comes down
and starts
to pick us up. You know that was the time I was most frightened...
waitin' for my
turn. I'll never put on a lifejacket again. So, eleven hundred men
went in the water;
316 men come out and the sharks took the rest, June the 29th, 1945.
Anyway,
we delivered the bomb."

We know nothing for sure what anything a man they claimed was called Jesus did
over two thousand years ago

We certainly know nothing of anyone by that name doing anything today

So he can hardly be perfect, other than in twisted minds.

The Jesus myth

The only reason adults cling to the Jesus myth is the inherent fear of death
and the potential life after death. Who wants to burn eternally in hell. Who
does not hope to live a wonderful eternal life in heaven? This is the opiate
that bolsters the illogical religious beliefs.

Just consider how ridiculous and totally illogical the foundation of the
Christian belief system is.

Keep in mind that God is supposedly all powerful and creator of the heavens,
the earth and all the creatures in the Universe. This all powerful God, who
created the human race with it's multitude of imperfections and ignorance,
then sent God the son to earth having him born of the virgin Mary. He then had
him grow up normally from childhood to adulthood with the profession of an
illiterate carpenter, a period about which little or nothing is known As an
adult he then preached a variant of Judaism in a small area of the middle
East. His preaching reached only a miniscule portion of the worlds population
at that time. The millions that were born and died prior to his coming
received none of his religious instruction and lived and died without its
benefits. The other millions that he did not reach with his preachings like
wise lived and died without the benefit of his teachings and pronouncements.

just wrote :-)
