IMHO the greatest live album ever. These guys were young and in peak
form.

Are you going to start the same OT thread every two months? The least
you could do is listen to another album.

Thoroughly pointless and total wank, but a lot of fun.

Brain Salad Surgery is the only ELP album, I really like. The rest
have no restraint at all and frankly meander way too much for me to
like them.

One could argue all music is pointless and wankery. It's about what
you enjoy. Live and let live right?

Fun?

If someone held a gun to my head & gave me the option of reading all
your ot 'Yes/PF' threads or a good kick in the nuts, guess which I'd choose?

I was an ELP fan in the 70s -- and remain so -- and like their
Pictures album quite a bit, but, even confining ourselves to the prog
arena, I might say Wakeman's Journey to the Centre of the Earth is the
best live album. It was a great take, everything clicked.

Outside the rock idiom, of course, there are many, many great live
albums from the worlds of classical music and jazz.

We know you love being kicked in the nuts.
