VATICAN CITY – Newly released U.S. diplomatic cables indicate that
Ireland caved in to Vatican pressure to grant immunity to church
officials in the government probe of decades of sex abuse by Irish
clergy in the predominantly Catholic nation.

It's a lot worse than you think. Let's look at a few other variations of
the child molesting pervert class:

Following his well established pattern, RHFink will now accuse me of
Antisemitism. In his eyes, child molestation by the Rabbi is just fine.
The real crime, in his opinion, is someone actually mentioning it.

I don't know how accurate the word 'remnants' is ..... On the other
other hand, the hierarchy of the Catholic church is *identical* to the
government structure of the Romans and the Pope has replaced Caesar.

RHFink will now accuse me of antisemitism because I mentioned Romans,
who murdered BILLIONS of Jews two thousand years ago, amongst whom were
MILLIONS of Jewish children who were wrapped up in Holy Scriptures and
burned to death.

Roman bastards......

Abrahimic religions have a major problem, however, as there was NEVER an
Abraham, hence a Covenant is impossible.

He did more than that. He gathered up the bigger Christian sects and
stuck their leaders together in a forced convention at Nicea.

They were made to blend, compromise and unify all the differing views
within their ranks. Then, to make the new religion palatable to Romans,
the idea of the 'trinity' was also put at the forefront. The Triune God
is more a Roman than Christian concept. It was this newly formed Church
that was adopted my Constantine as the official one.

Once a compromise was reached, the writings of the past which disagreed
with the new 'Nicene' Creed, were made to disappear. They became
illegal. With the power of the State behind the Bishops, enforcement
became easy.

There was one huge Catholic church in the Eastern and Western parts of
the Empire. That lasted until a bunch of crusaders on the way to fight
the Infidels, around 1200 ruined Constantinople and stole everything.

That, understandably, led Constantinople to hate Rome and they split.

All minutia aside, I believe they ARE, at least to the same degree that
Christians and Jews are being misled. The origins of these religions and
therefore the structures based upon them are shaky at the very best.

I also have a big problem with the masculinity of God. Divine beings
have no need of gender. Sexual reproduction is a fairly good way for
species to better themselves. God is already perfect and eternal. No sex
or gender required. Having a gender would mean God was incomplete.

Would you dress in Heavenly garb and then procreate with chimpanzees in
order to better their lot? To make them love you?

The difference in levels between man and monkey is infinitesimally small
compared to that between man and God.

Original sin? Sounds more a guilt trip manufactured to make the flock
easier to control.

The followers can stay, but religious leaders are an oxymoron and should
be retrained in a less dangerous vocation. Religion should be conducted
in private, where us normal people don't have to watch. Similar to
deviant sex acts.

FOXLEAKS: Fox boss ordered staff to cast doubt on climate science

December 15, 2010 8:08 am ET by Ben Dimiero

In the midst of global climate change talks last December, a top Fox
News official sent an email questioning the "veracity of climate change
data" and ordering the network's journalists to "refrain from asserting
that the planet has warmed (or cooled) in any given period without
IMMEDIATELY pointing out that such theories are based upon data that
critics have called into question."

The directive, sent by Fox News Washington managing editor Bill Sammon,
was issued less than 15 minutes after Fox correspondent Wendell Goler
accurately reported on-air that the United Nations' World Meteorological
Organization announced that 2000-2009 was "on track to be the warmest
[decade] on record."

This latest revelation comes after Media Matters uncovered an email sent
by Sammon to Fox journalists at the peak of the health care reform
debate, ordering them to avoid using the term "public option" and
instead use variations of "government option." That email echoed advice
from a prominent Republican pollster on how to help turn public opinion
against health care reform.

Sources familiar with the situation in Fox's Washington bureau have
expressed concern about Sammon using his position to "slant" Fox's
supposedly neutral news coverage to the right.

Sammon's orders for Fox journalists to cast doubt on climate science
came amid the network's relentless promotion of the fabricated
"Climategate" scandal, which revolved around misrepresentations of
emails sent to and from climate scientists at the University of East
Anglia's Climatic Research Unit.

No credible critics question the data, nor the conclusion that it's
getting warmer. To insinuate otherwise with clever amorphous language is
disingenuous (to be polite).

The not-insane controversy is about our contribution to the warming and
whether there is anything we can do (besides getting our affairs in
order). Personally, I agree with Mike Ruppert; economic collapse might
save the planet. Good times.

There are plenty credible critics that question the data. And I wonder why
MediaMatters would leave this part of the email out, "It is not our place as
journalists to assert such notions as facts, especially as this debate

There is no debate concerning that this year is the hottest ever
recorded. That is a fact. That is why they are called records.

Granted, there may be a few official thermometers from long ago with
suspect data (such as so-called record highs in Africa back in the
1930s), but we've been measuring this stuff from satellites fro 40 years
now, and that data is golden.

You mean its the hottest since 1880. And it isnt over yet. It may make the

A fear expressed variously by Plato, Aristotle, Madison, Tocqueville,
and J. S. Mill. If the majority rules, what is to stop it from
expropriating the minority, or from tyrannizing it in other ways by
enforcing the majority's religion, language, or culture on the minority?
Madison's answer in The Federalist is the best known. He argued that the
United States must have a federal structure. Although one majority, left
to itself, would try to tyrannize the local minority in one state or
city and another majority, left to itself, would do the same in another,
in a country as large and diverse as the United States there would not
be one national majority which could tyrannize over a national minority.
But if there was, the powers which the states retained would be a
bulwark against it. The separation of powers among legislature,
executive, and judiciary at federal level would be a further protection
against majority tyranny.

Wikipedia is useless. Corporations pay people to rewrite Wikipedia
articles, overnightly sometimes. Read the date of the last revision. Who
changes these pages every day? Who changes them back? How can you have
any confidence in such a thing?

There are no peer-reviewed studies that suggest anything that
contradicts the global warming conventional wisdom. There are crazies
with letters after their names hired by Exxon Mobil, but they are not
mainstream climate scientists.

Spain before Mexico. Denmark before Spain. Central Asians before
Norsemen. They should have made it a free international territory, like
the South Pole. Luckily, the people still own most of the land in the
West, and know its value.
