Engineering degree? The mind boggles. Can it get any funnier? I hope
so!
Wayne
Omigod. I plonked Gunner too soon. I looks like the fun is just beginning.
<g>
Ask him where he got his degree in economics, too. Or did he have a dual
major?

Ed Huntress
In his fantasy world, that would be "Duel Major..."
Dan
One can almost list his insecurities by the glorious whoppers alone.
It would be hilarious to advertise a fictional job offer that he
couldn't pass up, and then film him trying to rationalize all the
phoniness he's guaranteed to put on the application. Interviewer: I
see that you've listed multiple degrees and rather astonishing
capabilities. How is it that you can't afford teeth? :-)
Wayne
A time line would also be of interest. The one or two collage degrees,
the years spent in Viet Nam, service as a Law Officer, etc. One might
have thought that it hardly fits into his often stated age.
Or as an old army buddy once said, "If all that bullshit is true you
must be 100 years old. Would have taken you that long to do all those
things."
Cheers,
Billy

That's odd,
I do feel 100 years old some times...
... and gummer certainly looks like he really did drive 8 million
miles in the last 35 years as he recently claimed. But do the math and
you'll find yet another self-busting whopper. Why anyone believes a
word of what he writes is beyond me. He's only good for one thing -
reliably demonstrating every day in hideous and hilarious detail how a
phony conservative thinks and acts.
Wayne
Did Gunner actually make that claim? It comes out to 626 miles per day,
excluding Leap Days, and that seems a little unlikely.

You doubt his ability to write yet another galactically stupid
self-busting lie? Are you new here? :-)

Only a little unlikely?! :-) How about $400k of fuel and 40 vehicles
at 200k miles each? Buying a new ride every 11 months, plus 31 gallons
of fuel *every* day for 35 years would seem to be <snorf> pretty
fantastic accomplishments in light of the fact that gummy hasn't been
able to pay peanuts in property taxes for most of the last 2 decades.

You are absolutely correct. On retrospection..that should be closer to
to 5 million miles.
Ive been a traveling service tech since 1978, and before that..worked on
a traveling drill crew (seismograph). In there was 6 yrs with a second
job as a deputy sheriff in a desert county.
Best as I can figure...it should be closer to 300 miles per day, with
some days driving 600-800 miles nonstop. Which is the reason the
average mileage on my trucks is 400,000

LOL You're just not smart enough to make your whoppers remotely
plausible.

What did I just say? 5 million miles/35 years is an average of almost
400 miles a day for *every* day. Can you even fathom how ridiculous it
is to claim to have spent an average of 8 hours behind the wheel every
day for 35 years? Especially considering how much time you've spent on
Usenet during the last decade telling whoppers.

What an idiot.
Wayne
Don't be too sure. He got in a lot of sleep and read 400 - 500 books during
those driving hours.

Was that per week or per day?
Wayne
I don't remember. You'll have to ask him.

LOL, above you think 626 miles per day seems a little unlikely, but now 400
miles per day seems ridiculous. Imagine how downright impossible it would
seem if it turned out to be only 50 miles per day!
By the way 3500 miles per week is not unusual for hard working truck
drivers.

No Lib..the detractors are absolutely correct. I overstated my mileage 2
times. Ive been simply putting out half assed guesstimates and in
fact...they have indeed made it clear that I was way way off.
Mea Culpa.
Ive still not sat down and actually punched the numbers up...but Id have
to say that an average of 100 miles per day for the past 35 yrs would be
pretty close, not counting holidays, sick days and
whatnot....hummm...change that to 75 miles for the past couple years as
the economy started to fold and of course, my surgery in 2009. Im
fairly confident that in 2009 after my surgery and the stroke, I only
drove 35k, based on my odo readings.
So if one of them would care to calculate based on that and the previous
years, the last 12 of which I logged a yearly average of 68k/yr, and
post their work, Id be greatly appreciative to have this squared away
once and for all.
But he's not claiming 50 (yet), nitwit, and even he realizes how
stupid his claims are. In fact, he's inviting others to do some math
for him, because if he even owns a calculator, it's probably shimming
up a table leg or something. All of which makes you dumber than gummer
for believing and defending his foolishness. It also nicely
demonstrates the M.O. of you phony conservatives who can't help
backing a position solely for partisan motives.
>By the way 3500 miles per week is not unusual for hard working truck

I've averaged 500 per day for 2 weeks straight on a motorcycle a
couple of times. That's harder than it sounds when you factor in
weather. But that's pretty much all I did during that time. IOW, I
wasn't on Usenet day and night making up ridiculous stories that would
have precluded all the riding. Get a clue man, gummer just pulls his
crap out of thin air, and as far as I can remember, this is the very
first time he's ever come clean about one of his whoppers. Maybe it
will rain frogs today as well.
