Each conservation law is a property that emerges from a symmetry
principle. A given conservation law is only applicable when the system
is invariant to a corresponding transformation.
Conservation of energy is only applicable when the system being
investigated is invariant to a shift in time.
In introductory physics, one is presented with conservation of
energy in macroscopic systems with no atomic sized degrees of freedom.
If there are no frictional forces or irreversible chemical reactions,

frictional forces and the temperature of the system is ignored.
In fact, energy is conserved even in a mechanical system with
frictional forces. However, this is because Newton's Laws of mechanics
are invariant to time shifts if all forces between atoms and electrons
are taken into account.
Conservation laws are not "nonsense", whatever that means. Maybe
what you mean is that conservation laws are consequences of underlying
symmetry. It is very useful to know what symmetry principle
corresponds to a particular conservation law. If you pay attention to
a symmetry of the system in question, then the corresponding
conservation law does not seem so mysterious.
I strongly recommend that you look into Noether's theorem before
making another post.
