before submit it?

You can embed videos just on canvas view. Grab the code directly from
YouTube website (video page).
Another option is using swfobject JavaScript lib which helps you with
cross browsers issues.

A simple approach: Save some data on opensocial data space or save it
on an external server and make a request each time your app loads.
Would be sth like:
- app loads, make a request and check if data exists;
- if not exists, then it's first time loading, so update data setting
it to "loaded";
- if data exists, just continue ...

No way to do that. Otherwise any user would grab everyone's data.
That's why an user must have the app installed.

DNS - CNAME change

I've updated the DNS record for my Orkut App which we've been using
for a while, but my App stopped working.
Orkut doesn't seem to see the DNS record any longer (not even the old
one), it throws "Unable to retrieve spec for [link] HTTP
error 502". I've also tried the &bpc=1 param, but got the same

I have created my first application and orkut approved it, Now i found
a problem that when my friends added my application it is not showing
in My Freinds Updates and also not even showing in My Updates when i
add it to my account.
I also select the Post updates to my friends in Permission Settings.

I've been searching for a sample code to embed a youtube video in an
orkut application since a few days. I know that it can be done in some
