I am sorry to hear that circumstances will not permit your work on Dilger's Battery to be completed and published. Hopefully with your generous donations of the very important source materials you own and have discovered, someone will be able to continue your work or at least use the materials in some other works.

Due to bad health and other circumstances Dilger's Battery will not
be published unless a miracle happens. My collection will be
dispersed to both the OHS and the USAMHI. I nevertheless will include
uniforms and other items. I put forth my best effort.
