William Brooker *alias* Joseph Rich William Brooker served in the Civil War, but under an alias, Joseph Rich. The CW Pension Index lists both names as the same person. I have found Joseph Rich on the Ohio Civil War Roster (Company E, 25th Inf regiment) - but no William Brooker. I have not ordered the pension file yet ($$) - but very curious. Are any... more »

Shaundra - I am indeed interested in the ledger that you found. If it could be copied, I would pay for the trouble and cost of the photo-copy plus postage. There is no way that I could pay anything near what Judy mentioned in her reply and I would not want the responsibility of having the original anyway. I agree that it would be well placed in a library or historical society. I am interested in the ledger because my great-grandfather, John J.
