I have 2 newsgroups that show a lot of unread files. That is, on the
left hand side next to the newsgroup name. For instance, Desktop (36).
But there are no message showing on the right side. I can delete
the newsgroup & then create it again but it only loads about 5 message.
I mark then all as read but then when I go to another newsgroup it
then shows the (36) again. Clicking on the newsgroup to highlight it &
then doing a ctrl-shift-c doesn't mark them as all read. And I don't
show any message on the right side. Any ideas?

close the program, then delete the *.msf files for those
newsgroups that are located in the News section of the TB
profile.
