feel-good Liberals everywhere watching Oprah in glee.
yes we can!
rack up another brilliant manipulative backchannel con job from
Bushco.
six months after McCain is "elected", his VP takes over.
any takers on who that'll be?

It's amazing. He says nothing, and everyone falls all over
themselves to support it. What was that position again? Dunno, but
it gave me the warm fuzzies.

Some birdbrain like Quayle. (Remember him?)

Parroting his opposition without checking the facts? Who would've guessed!

Just 'cause the guy speaks good doesn't mean he's without substance.

I don't need to look it up, Sal. I've heard him several times myself.

Ann Coulter. Let a woman piss people off for a change.
remember these bits:
"I'm a Uniter, not a Divider!"
"I'm a Compassionate Conservative!"
wooing those feel-good independents.
yeah, baby!
but you didn't hear word one of any of that crap in the second
campaign, did ya?
nope.
not one word of it.

everyone has position sites.
it's like, mandatory for any serious candidate.
> Just 'cause the guy speaks good doesn't mean he's without substance.
of course not.
but it won't be long before Voter's Remorse sets in with all those
supporting Obama.
once peeps realize the implications.
i mean, he's said more intensely negative things about Hillary than
Bush, FFS.
go figure.
if he can't even be a "uniter" in his own party...
if he creates serious division in his own party instead of "healing"
the supposed anti-Hillary contingent...
if he's more interested in wooing the opposition than strengthening
his "positions".
the real value of his rhetoric will become clearer and clearer:
Obama is the opiate of the masses.
welcome to eight more years of Bushco.

that nails it, doesn't it?
i should be running these fricken' campaigns.
i joined Hillary's site a couple weeks ago but they just keep sending
requests for cash.
yikes.
there's no links to places to help them strategize.
fools.

Politicians trying to get their lame asses elected used to have these
"platform" things, now the only platforms they have is shooz.

And yet there is no substance, some say. Obama's substance isn't in the
inspirational speeches he makes at victory rallies. He's speaking to his
supporters, pushing them on in the campaign. Inspiration is what he's
aiming for.
For those who are not supporters and who remain unconvinced, his
substance is on his Web site where his policy positions are laid out and
in speeches to folks who are not necessarily his supporters, like the
speech described here:
<http://my.barackobama.com/page/community/post/samgrahamfelsen/Cmzm>
You might not agree with his goals, but larfing him off as someone who
says nothing, who is the opiate of the masses, is a game encouraged by
Clinton and McCain. It's to their advantage if folks who are leery of
politicians suck up their claim that Obama is just a warm fuzzy speech
maker who has no substance, no plans, no thought and is just offering
hope to those who consider him the second coming.

Enlighten us, oh intelligent one.

Karl Rove?
nah, that would be far too obvious.
just "follow the money", oh boggled one.
hey, i enjoy a good opium high just as much as the next guy.
there's several things that Obama says that i like very much.
1] change needs to come from the bottom up
2] it's the _mindset_ about war that needs changing
3] we need to listen to our opposition
and many other things.
but once the opium wears off, Bushco's still driving the humvee.
> is a game encouraged by Clinton and McCain.
as opposed to Obama's game, right?

not to mention those gentle soulds who are so put off by "pointless
bickering".
yep.
let's all play nice!
sure.
nicey nice, in fact.
and when the boxing bell is rung, instead of punching your opponents
lights out, read him some inspiring poetry!
yeah.
or when the teams assemble on the football field, let's help the other
guy get a touchdown!
sure.
why not.
makes lots of sense when you give it further thought.

I remember long ago we had a President that somehow got young people
interested, involved. I'd just heard about the concept of taking a
50-mile hike when they shot that particular President. I don't know
nuffin about Obama, much. If he's not a fake maybe he should start
wearing a kevlar vest, get his sweat-glands adjusted so he doesn't
ruin all his suits.
