She took on the oil companies in Alaska and made them divvy up ten times
what they were having to pay Alaskan citizens for Alaskan oil. In short,
big oil was getting a free ride...but no more. She also head-butted her
agenda to get a trans-Alaskan pipeline from Alaska to Alberta for oil
refining and transport to the United states. That issue had been stalled
for 30 years. Hurrah!
So, while Obama's energy plan was for us to be sure and put enough air in
our tires, hers was to get petroleum flowing where it is needed.
The woman is a powerhouse and the scariest thing liberals have seen since
Algor wore a Ronald Reagan mask to that Hollywood party.
A liberal pal of mine was bad mouthing big oil this morning. I told him if
he didn't like big oil, how did he feel about big food? Or big medicine? I
told him next time he wanted to drive his car he needed to see how far he
could go without big oil. Next time he got hungry, how much food would he
find at the store without big oil? Next time his mama got sick, how much
medicine would her doctor have at his disposal without big oil?
Petroleum is what drives the world, and last time I checked, the USA was
part of it. Sarah America knows this.
Why is that concept so hard for liberals to understand?
I hate liberalislam.

And the other 49 states are paying the royalty fees in higher prices.

Set in Alaska. Where people see clearly, unlike dumbasses who think
Obummer is the Messiah.
really? i never noticed.
and it's one of my favorite tv shows of all time.
i'm not very observant, i guess.
i always thought it was set in Sicily.

Obama, as flawed as he is, is a _much_ better narrative than Ms. Shame
and McSame.
that's a fact, Jack.
McCain is a complete fraud who lacks the courage of his alleged
convictions.
same with Ms. Shame.
your kind of folks, no doubt.

why i have no respect for John McCain
http://groups.google.com/group/misc.writing/msg/a673ab94eae4957f
otherwise, if he REALLY believes that human rights begins at
conception, why won't McCain make a swearing-in-day pledge to
issue an executive order declaring that ALL abortions are a
capital offense of first degree murder, from sea to shining sea?

Your utterly lick-spittle craven subservience to corporations is
typical of a Republican, and the reason why your country is, despite
all your bullshit about freedom of the individual, the most
centralised state in the world outside of North Korea.
You sound exactly like something out of 1984. Substitute the words
"big whatever" with "Big Brother" and your dialogue could have been
written by Orwell himself.

"The main street of Cicely and the filming location was actually that
of Roslyn, Washington. Because of this, the bar features a number of
signs from Pacific Northwest Microbreweries, which in 1990 were still
fairly small and only known outside of the area by beer enthusiasts."
"Alaskan inaccuracies
The town of Cicely is sometimes said to be within Arrowhead County,
although Alaska has no counties. The state is divided into boroughs
(and one large Unorganized Borough), so some episodes refer to "the
borough of Arrowhead County".
When being given directions out of town, a visitor is told to follow
Main Street down to the Interstate, though Alaska has no signed
Interstate highways (while some Alaska roads have Interstate
designations for funding reasons, they are unsigned by ADOT&PF). Few
highways in Alaska have more than two lanes.
There was also an episode in which Ed talks about Alaskan snakes.
There are no snakes native to Alaska."
"There are no snakes native to Alaska."
True. Palin's from Idaho.
