what advice would you give yourself?

if you knew you could get yourself to take it,
what kind of advice would you give yourself?

no wait...

maybe that condition might screw up your answer.

so...

let's rephrase that:

what advice would you give yourself?

Buy low, sell high (or the other way around. I forget).

Always drink from the near side of the cup.

Plastics.

Keep your friends close and your enemies closer (if they've bathed
recently).

Go West, young man. No, wait. It's already crowded. Stop in New
Mexico.

A fool and his money are soon...(Nuts. I paid someone $20 to get me
the rest of this, and he hasn't come back. It's been a week.)

anything that allows you to mold things cheaply has to be good.

that one didn't work out so hot for Michael.

That depends on when I was giving it.

Freud took cocaine as a painkiller for long-standing oral cancer,
though he experimented with its use in other circumstances, such as to
treat depression. In no sense was he a cokehead as we now think of
them.

Did you know he was a physician-assisted suicide?

That's precisely how I think of him. Cocaine can lead to thought
patterns characteristic of psychosis, and Freud's psychological
theories are fundamentally the same sort of theories that Schreber had
about "nerves of voluptuousness". Freud was just a lot more successful
at convincing other people to adopt his ideas. But at some level he
knew the truth, and that's why he said Schreber "ought to have been
made a professor of psychiatry".

Stop with the *no waits* and the *let's rephrase that* and repeat your
REAL question.

the "REAL" question can be any of the following:

1] what advice would you give yourself?

2] given all of the knowledge and experience you have about yourself
and your concerns, are you qualified to give yourself advice?

3a] are you capable of taking your own advice?

3b] if so, why aren't you taking it?

4] what advice would you give yourself?
