Having a problem with 4 separate updates that repeatedly install
themselves throughout the day. They are:
KB929969
KB931768
KB933566
KB939653
I need to figure out how to stop/prevent/delete these updates from
always showing up. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Is Internet Explorer 7 installed ? If yes, did this installation issue
with the updates for IE start occurring after it was installed ?
If the answer is NO to both questions, let's start with KB929969 .. go
to Start > Run > type in or copy and paste the below into the Open: line
%windir%\KB929969.log
Click OK or press Enter
The log will now open
Go back to Start > Run and enter
%windir%\KB939653.log
Click OK or press Enter
Please post the contents of both logs into your reply.
If they won't fit due to size, then please make 2 posts.

Windows version? IE version? Are you trying to install these manually?
Is "Security Update for Windows Internet Explorer 7 (KB939653)" listed in
Add/Remove Programs (make sure the Show Updates box is checked)?
Translation of what you posted: The machine doesn't need these updates as
either they're already installed or a later update which suspersedes them is
installed.

You'd think that once the updates discover that IE7 does not require
them, the would flag to be no longer installed.
And isn't KB939653 for IE6, not IE7? At least that's what's the log
says:
"KB939653 Setup encountered an error: The version of Internet Explorer
you have installed does not match the update you are trying to
install."

Same with the KB939653.log
Since it's an IE7 issue, you take over <w>

message(s) in your replies to the newsgroup. Thank you.]]
You have a horked (dirty; bad; flawed) install of IE7, for whatever reason.
I suggest that you...
1. Uninstall IE7 (which automatically returns you to IE6) *exactly* per
http://www.ie-vista.com/kbase2.html
2a. Uninstall all toolbars and third-party Windows Themes (including Window
Blinds).
2b. Disable all Norton Add-ons, if applicable.
3. Reinstall IE7 *exactly* per
http://www.ie-vista.com/known_issues.html#pre-install, and using
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/downloads/default.mspx as the installation
source, not Automatic/Windows Update.
4. IMMEDIATELY go to http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com and install any
critical updates offered. If a "Root Certificates" update is listed in the
Optional category, you might install it, too, to take full advantage of
IE7's additional security.
