Unable to Delete Messages

I received a bad Email and every time I attempted to delete the message, I was locked out. I managed to wipe the folder the out and start new. Now I created a new INBOX and I am unable to delete messages that are received. Any way of correcting this problem?

This is the first I saw this. The OP was removed from the Outlook Express
newsreader. Was it more than 90 days old?

Delete Deleted Items.dbx in the same fashion you deleted the Inbox.dbx.
