Hello!

I'm quite new to MS Axapta and MS CRM. I have a question about
integration between MS Axapta and MS CRM. Is it possible to achive it
directly without MS Biztalk? It would be a great help for me to get any
useful links on this topic.

Thank you in advance!

Hi,

this might be possible. depends on how you want to achieve that. if you
can output the data to a file (xml, csv), you use Scribe or your own
application to pick up that file and put that into CRM.

Hi Darren,

Thank you very much for your answer! Everything is starting to be more
clear to me, but I do have one more question. You write that I may
write my own application. Where can I find more information about
writing applications for Axapta. Like I said I'm quite new to this and
I would appreciate any information or links!

Marynel did send you a great link, what I mean a custom app is if you
can extract the data out from Axapter, you can easily write your custom
application to pick up the data, using the CRM web service call to
insert the data into CRM. I would go with this way if this is not a
very complicate integration, I know Micorosft of working on an
integration between Axapta and CRM, I don't know if it's been out or
not. It might be out there already. If this is a complicated
integration, I would look for other options, like using BizTalk or
third party software. It all depends on the integration requirement,
stuff like integration one way, two way, etc...

Hope this helps!
