Thanks for this John - interesting to see Universal Subtitles overlooked in this post. I find their subtitling tool very intuitive - it stops the video as you type and restarts when you stop, with simple keyboard shortcuts to skip back and pause. It's these features that lead me to pick Universal Subs over DotSUB every time. I'd be interested to hear peoples' thoughts on this!
