Notes from Community Leadership Team briefing meeting held 13 April 2010 21:00 UTC

* Definition of meeting types:

 

Ordinary bi-weekly / monthly CLT meetings have a meeting Agenda and is lead by a Chairman

Topics are discussed in detail, and action items set.

Duration: 1 - 2 hours.

 

Casual weekly / bi-weekly CLT briefing meetings is a quicker briefing of status from each member 

Duration: 30 mins - 45 mins.

Volunter form:

Updated some fields at the Volunter form and mentioned we need links to Code Of Conduct and Privacy Policy with checkmark.

Need a final review then and should be ready to launch soon.

Social network:

Wendy and Brad been in contact with highly interesting possible candidate for taking lead of new upcoming social network. A volunter with experience as editor for various web and social sites.

Team discussed the option to have a two person lead, by bringing in this new volunter and combine with senior current volunter.

 

Shop:

Busy week getting administrative part of new 1.6 shirts limited edition ready.

 

Peter:

 

Forum:

Have been posting to thank mod-team for their great part of keeping forum a good place to visit for now 2 mill posts.

Done some analyzing on inactive moderators and preparing mail to get in touch with them for feedback.

Miljan (Leftfield) added to the General Forum Mods group, as he voluntered to do more.

Ongoing discussing with global mods to possible add extra global moderator.

 

External network and social sites:

Team briefly discussed our list of overview, and will get back to this topic.

 

Ole:

 

JUGs:

Have had some good chats with Elin and Michelle in order to learn more about status, and what is needed to improve this area on our part.

Will continue to work with Michelle on this.

 

JED:

Team are keeping up with this great zero pendings, and are selfmanaging fine. Toni Marie their team lead now.

 

Events:

Helped getting some articles posted for near upcoming events.

 

Brad:

 

Social network:

Getting in contact with Voxus for to plan communication on new social network site.

 

External listings:

Spoken to Mark about PLT taking on Joszef´s role in maintaining these external listings. Positive response.

 

Forum maintenance:

Been in contact with phpbb guy to have some help for forum improvements. Progressing.

 

Everybody:

 

New JED server mentioned, bigger, better, in own facility like forum is now. Switch to new isn´t expected to cause downtime.

Release of dev-site, pure interest of infrastucture and when ready for presentation.

Re-design team, great progress. Wendy reported they added people like Paul and Louis to their collaboration tool in order to gain feedback from different areas. Positive steps, are reported to be working hard and in good spirit.
