it was more work than I thought - partly due to schedules maintenance of github I didn't know about - but the new bootstrap templates have been merged into master. So get busy testing ;)
Note I haven't merged the SQL changes yet, so after installing Joomla you'll have to discover the new templates and manually make them the default. We'll fix this soonish.
I for one am now ready to take a vacation. Just kidding ;)

So let me share a little bit of a convoluted trick for getting the templates installed. I don't know why this works but go to extension manager install and attempt to install isis and proto star from directory. This will fail but then you will be able to go to discover install and install them. For reasons I don't understand if you go to discover install first it won't work.

Here's a little bit of a convoluted trick for getting the templates installed. I don't know why this works but go to extension manager install and attempt to install isis and proto star from directory. This will fail but then you will be able to go to discover install and install them. For reasons I don't understand if you go to discover install first it won't work (this problem with discover install for templates has been in the tracker for a while so if someone would like to work on that it would be great).

Also, way to go Michael, JM, Kyle (and UX group), Mark, and others who
contributed as well (I know I'm leaving some names out, forgive me!). We
