I am busy familiarizing myself with hull number. I bought it in
February, finally sailed it a week ago and am down to a couple of
minor issue. The boat sails very nicely and i am very happy with it.
The question of the day is this - it came with a 3 point lifting
bridle and while i dont intend to crane launch it, i have an overhead
lift in our shop that i could use to lift it off the trailer for
maintnance. So, where would it connect? The obvious places are the
center holes on the chainplates and the forward hole on the bow
fitting. I just hat to do it wrong. Replacing chainplates is not fun.
Any info would be appreciated.

there is a loop on the front of the rudder post which you should for the 3rd cable.  you are right about the chain plates- they are designed to support the majority of the weight..... make sure your lift slowly and watch the mast angle and board to make sure that it doesn't slide out.

oh, don't rely on the at bow fitting for much of anything... it's easy to damage it and a paid to replace it. I use mine to help crank the boat onto the trailer and then I ease it off.

Thanks - forgot about the one in the stern - I'll give it a try.
