Empty list, when printing categories on Front-End

I try to print some categories on front-end from "Home" category and always getting empty list. This is because "CATEGORY.VIEW" permission is set only on module root categories, like "Directory", "Products" and not set on topmost "Home" (Content actually) category.

I propose (again) to set "CATEGORY.VIEW" permission for "Everyone" group on top folder and remove it from module top categories so it will be inherited from parent.

couldn't restrict a module to non-logged users?

We remove allow rule from module root folder and it will be inherited from home folder. This doesn't prevent you from adding explicit deny rule in Directory category later for example.
