Some have had success with a rudder like appendage the keeps the camera facing into the wind. Using two lines to mount the Camera on the flying line controls the pendulum effect

Ya, we can record video and then choose best frame from it. But this process would require post processing of video in software like Matlab or others to separate frames from video.
Other problem is how we are going to assign GPS coordinate to that best frame???

I think starting with still images is a good place to begin, since they'll be higher resolution as well. Eventually we could attempt video too!
