Bookmarklets not supported?

GCF doesn't support the "javascript:" protocol, so bookmarklets don't
work. As per the original thread, the full suite of Chrome Developer
Tools are available from the right click menu (as you discovered). Are
there other scenarios that you think are critical?

This link works:

<a href="javascript:alert('hi there')">Hello</a>

I assume the "javascript:" protocol is not supported only for
bookmarklets?

You are right the links within the page will work but Javascript navigations at top level are prevented for security reasons.
